☁ AIM Server

Welcome to the AIM server at aim.flightlessbirdlabs.io.

Quick Start

  1. Get an account: aim.flightlessbirdlabs.io/invite (invite required)
  2. Download AIM 4.2: aim42.exe (2.3 MB)
  3. Connect: Open AIM, click Connections, set Host: aim.flightlessbirdlabs.io Port: 5190, then sign on

Connecting with Pidgin

  1. Add a new account (Accounts → Manage Accounts → Add)
  2. Protocol: OSCAR (AIM/ICQ)
  3. Screen Name: your username
  4. Password: your password
  5. Click the Advanced tab
  6. Set Connection Security to: Plain text (NOT Use SSL)
  7. Server: aim.flightlessbirdlabs.io Port: 5190
  8. Click Add

Connecting with AIM 4.2

  1. Open AIM
  2. Click Connections on the sign-on screen
  3. Check "Use the following AIM host"
  4. Host: aim.flightlessbirdlabs.io Port: 5190
  5. Click OK, enter your credentials, and Sign On
